Hi, I’m Tyler Cox: wife, mom, neighbor, home bakery owner, and cottage food producer. My journey into baking started with a love for creating special moments around the table. From my first memories of baking with my mom to experimenting with my own recipes for my family, I discovered the power desserts have to bring people together.

In 2020, I founded Simply Sweet Bakery MN with a mission to spread joy and connection through desserts. Right after the pandemic lockdown, I found myself (like many others) searching for a way to have more human connection. Minnesota's cottage food law has allowed me to do that through baked goods!
As the bakery has grown, so has my vision, leading to the exciting transition to Biddy Bakehouse — a change inspired by my family name, and a cozier feel to emphasize the small-batch magic of home baking.

Food is more than ingredients—it’s an experience that unites us. No matter our differences in background, we all have special memories tied to food, and I’m honored to create treats that spark nostalgia and connection. From colorful macarons that brighten any celebration to custom wedding cakes that add magic to once-in-a-lifetime moments, I pour heart and care into every item I bake.

My bakery is rooted in the values of quality, community, and giving. I proudly use local Sunrise Mill flour from North Branch, MN, and offer dye-free options for those who are mindful of food additives. Supporting other small and women-owned businesses, schools, and community events in the Cambridge and Braham area is part of who I am as a neighbor and entrepreneur.

Beyond baking, I love meeting customers through fun, interactive cookie decorating classes, pop-up sales and farmers markets, and custom orders that bring their visions to life. The relationships I’ve built over creating these special treats are the sweetest part of what I do.

As I look to the future, I’m excited to continue serving east central MN with hand-crafted desserts, building on my passion for creating joy and connection in every bite.
